RIO - King of the ballad, Luiz Gonzaga, gave wings to the Unidos da TijucaPaulo Barros soar for the first carnival in 2012. This is the second championship won by Carnival to the yellow and blue, the avenue that led to the plot "The day I landed in all the royal avenue to crown King Louis the Hinterland ', with 299.9 points. In 2010, when he returned to Tijuca (which had already won two runner-up in 2004 and 2005), Barros won his first title in the Special Group to "Is No Secret." Last year, was runner-up to "Tonight I will take your soul." To read the fourth item, the Unidos da Tijuca was splitting the lead with the Vila Isabel ("You Semba there .. I sambo from here! The free corner of Angola"), who lost three precious tenths in allegories and Props . The village also lost important points in the battery. During the investigation, the Willow ("Cordel white and red") ended up taking second place with 299.7 points, leaving the village in third with 299.5 points, the Hummingbird in fourth (298.9) , the Rio Grande in fifth (298.3) and Portela in sixth (297.2). These are the schools that parade of Champions on Saturday.Resurrecting Jacarepaguá and Porto da Pedra fell to the Access Group.
In the Special Group, the Hummingbird has started losing 0.1 by problems with the Front, which was prevented from presenting the third sector due to the size of its scenic element. In a statement read before the determination of grades, the school board has apologized. On the issue of plot, the Beija-Flor won four notes 9.8. Even with the disposal of them, the blue and white (champion in 2011, with theme in honor of Roberto Carlos) fell from third to fifth place, being overtaken by Rio Grande
After reading the notes, the handle Portela Gilsinho, said the school needs to invest more financially to have a carnival at the height of their tradition. He said the plot honoring Clara Nunes was a great success:
- It is almost our sponsor. Our school owes nothing to any other major Rio What we need now is to attract more sponsorships, partnerships do more. So leave our community more confident.
The highlight of the school Carlos Ribeiro said Portela resumed its grandeur on the avenue:
- We maintained our tradition, but interact better with the public. Portela is now another.
After the daring "paradona" nearly three minutes, the hose ended in seventh place with 297 points, and not back to the Sambadrome on Saturday. The judges of the requirements development and master of ceremonies and flag-bearer (the couple was going through a corridor of drummers for your presentation) showed his displeasure by taking the 10th school. Have those responsible for notes of drums and harmony approved innovation giving grades ten to green and pink (the only 9.9 in battery, was discarded).
After receiving the cup of champions, the president of the Unidos da Tijuca, Fernando Horta, spoke about how to make a samba school without patrons. He said this year, the parade of Tijuca cost more than $ 10 million and beyond the budget officer, had sponsors for the plot of Luiz Gonzaga and Pernambuco. Moreover, Horta said the school is year-round events to enable their carnival.
- Only the Front, with concerts and presentations, has brought the school $ 3 million in recent years. We work to attract tourists to the court and the shed, and events throughout the year. So we can facilitate the parade - he said.
The court champion of Unidos da Tijuca is already crowded with revelers celebrating the title of Carnival 2012. The championship trophy - led by President Fernando Horta - is already there. The carnival Paulo Barros has also arrived for the celebration. Two AM radio patrols are on Calle San Miguel, which gives access to Morro do Borel, preventing the passage of vehicles, as residents celebrate community towards the achievement of the school. Traffic is being diverted to the street Ramon Carcano, which leads to the Conde de Bonfim, a major route of Tijuca.
A block from the school champion was not ready for the party. The components began arriving on the scene, the Leopoldina, Port Area, away from the Morro do Borel, hence, the Unidos da Tijuca, around 17h. Even the beer was ready for the celebration. Staff began to connect the refrigerator until the end of the calculation, when the school was already virtually champion. In all, will be distributed one thousand boxes of beer cans.Besides singing the samba school, the fans sing flasks of Luiz Gonzaga, the theme of the plot.
The approximately 500 salgueirenses that accompanied the court the determination of a twisted turn to the ten that gave victory to the Unidos da Tijuca. Even so, the school champion, who is in the same neighborhood, was applauded when confirmed victory. Willow fans who remain on the court say that the feeling is victory.
- For the problems the school faced the avenue, went to a good placement - Milena said Nogueira, one of six muses school.
Part of the battery and the auxiliary handle Bessa were Leonardo Silva Telles Street to commemorate the second place.
- Our feeling is accomplishment. We did a great carnival, a carnival of fighting, but unfortunately we could not win. We knew the difference between the top finishers would be small, but I'm happy - said Leonardo, who accompanied the court the investigation.
Have the leaders of the United Vila Isabel were clearly disappointed with third place. According to the president of the club, Wilson Alves, the Wilsinho be among the winners is important, but the village, in his opinion, deserved the championship.
- We who thrilled audiences. We won several awards. Deserved the championship - he said, unhappy.
There was also much protest in the village against the notes of the drums, which were some of the more damaged the school placement.
- Thrilled, everyone sings and dances together and lose points. Now fashion is sit back and not touch. He said, referring to paradona Hose.
- I like the hose, the school staff, but the battery has to respect the village. - Paulinho said, one of the masters of the Village of Battery.
Even after the defeat, the battery of Vila Isabel also started playing at the school, and although many people cry, the president of harmony school, Decius Bastos took the stage and made the speech to comfort the community.
- Despite the result, we know we sing, we know sambar. Do not let anyone get you happiness. Let's celebrate - called Bastos.
The president of Rebirth Jacarepaguá, Antonio Carlos Solomon, was angry with the outcome of the investigation, which lowered its school year in which she debuted at the Special Group. He disputed the ratings given by the judges and said that the parade was not assessed fairly:
- I wanted to know the mathematics of the jurors. We had several 9.6, and I know that I'm missing is name because the name I have. And they judge schools by name. The next time I go to the (Group) Special, I'll make a banner for her lead have the same weight of the other.
The school parade honored the artist Romero Britto, but the president does not think the theme of the plot is the reason for the downgrade:
- The theme of the school did not influence the note from the jurors. What hurt was the lack of the name.
President of the Porto da Pedra - placed second last, and in 2013 also parade for Access - Francisco Marins regretted the outcome, but preferred to avoid controversy:
- Hate me for a victim, do not do this online. But, if my school would remain in the Special Group, I would suggest moving some jurors. Now, if they thought the Porto da Pedra deserved to fall, patience.
The trial this year brought news . The number of jurors has decreased from five to four per item. And only the minimum score on each item was discarded. In previous years, the highest and lowest were disregarded in the final. The form of judgment also changed. Five of the ten items that define the winning were divided into two. Come to be judged in this way the Front, floats and props, costumes and plot. The samba-item plot had already subdivided the note, with a separate analysis of lyrics and melody.

While the eagerly awaited highlight of the Carnival, the parades of elaborately decorated fantasy floats and scantily dressed women in the Sambadrome, attract mainly the wealthy and foreign tourists, blocos are for all.
"Bola Preta is one of the most traditional blocs of the Carioca (Rio) Carnival and everybody participates,
particularly blacks (from the favelas)," participant Sandrah Sagrado told AFP.
A ex-BBB Cacau, musa da escola de samba Dragões da Real, diz que a ficou surpreendida com a fantasia, que valorizou seu bumbum e os seios.
"Bola Preta brings everybody together, people from all districts and neighboring towns," Denise Chagas concurred.

In Rio, the top 13 competing samba schools were to parade dancers, musicians and elaborately decorated fantasy floats at the renovated Sambadrome Sunday night and Monday night.
The contest between the Rio samba schools for the title of Carnival champion is watched with the same fervor as football matches in this soccer-mad nation.
